Auto body questions,
answered straight.
The things Worcester drivers ask us most about cost, insurance, paint and timelines.
Common questions
How much does auto body repair cost in Worcester?
It depends on the panel, the paint and whether anything behind the damage was affected. A bumper scuff is a different job than a hit that moved a frame mount. We look at the car, explain what the repair actually needs, and give you a free estimate before anything starts.
Do I have to use the shop my insurance company suggests?
No. In Massachusetts you choose your own repair shop. Your insurer can recommend one, but the decision is yours. We work with claims from all insurance companies and can help you with the estimate and the paperwork.
How long will my car be in the shop?
Small paint and dent work is often a few days. Larger collision repair depends on parts availability and whether the insurance company approves a supplement for hidden damage. We tell you the expected timeline up front and let you know if it changes.
Will the new paint match the rest of my car?
That is the part we care most about. Paint changes over time from sun and weather, so we do not just spray the factory color code. We check the color in light, mix it, and blend it into the surrounding panel so the repair is not something you notice.
What is a supplement, and why did my estimate change?
A supplement is an additional amount requested from the insurer when more damage is found after the panel comes off. It is very common on collision work. We document what we find, send it to the insurance company, and explain it to you before we continue.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. You can stop by the shop, call us, or send photos of the damage through the contact page. Photos are usually enough for us to tell you the likely next step before you drive over.
Can you repair a dent without repainting?
Sometimes. If the paint surface is not broken and the metal has not stretched, a dent can often be worked out without refinishing. If the paint is cracked or chipped, the panel will need paint to look right and to stay protected.
Do you fix hail damage, scratches and door dings?
Yes. Small damage is a large share of what we do — door dings, cart scrapes, keyed panels and weather damage. It is worth fixing early, because chipped paint lets moisture reach the metal underneath.
Do you work on trucks and SUVs?
Yes. We handle cars, trucks and SUVs, including bumper covers, bed panels and larger body panels.
Is the repair work guaranteed?
We stand behind the body and paint work we perform. Coverage depends on the specific repair, so ask us what is covered on your job before we start and we will tell you plainly.
What should I do right after an accident?
Make sure everyone is safe and the car is out of traffic. Take photos of all sides of the damage, the other vehicle and the scene. Exchange information, file the claim if you plan to use insurance, then send us the photos and the claim number so we can tell you the next step.
Where are you located and when are you open?
We are at 69 Armory St D, Worcester, MA 01603. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday is by appointment only, and we are closed Sunday. You can reach us at (508) 615-5807.
